Jio launches its free video conferencing JioMeet app in India. The app will take on other popular apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and others.
The app is currently available to install and use on both Google play store and Apple store. Earlier, Jio was working to launch its own JioMeet app. Make in India: the Jio offers all the similar features that are available on other applications.
JioMeet App Features
Now, India can easily use the new JioMeet app. It supports HR video call and audio quality. The app supports up to 100 participants while doing a video conference or meeting.
According to the company, JioMeet is encrypted and protects the data while doing the video conferencing call. In terms of, security the app is secured.
Using the app and signing up is very easy. The host can start the meeting by signing up using email ID, number, and name. Then they can send an invite link to the other participants to join the meeting. Joining the meeting requires no need to sign up. The meeting can go on for 24 hours without any interruption. Screen-sharing and sharing the device while at the meeting is available.
Other features the JioMeet includes safe driving mode, waiting room option, and multi-device login support. Also, the host can easily schedule a meeting and send an invitation link to the participants to join the meeting.
Moreover, JioMeet is also available on web platforms such as Windows and macOS. The user can easily switch or use the JioMeet via desktop or laptop. The user needs to use the official JioMeet website.
