Poco is going to launch its new Poco M2 Pro in India. Earlier, many leaks and details were surfaced online about the upcoming Poco M2 Pro. However, now it is been official that the company has scheduled to launch its new device in India on July 7. The launch event will take place online which will start from 12 PM.
The date of the launch event was announced through the company’s official website and also via Flipkart. However, they dint mentioned anything about the specifications of the smartphone.
While Flipkart has uploaded a teaser regarding the upcoming Poco M2 Pro smartphone. The first video shows the power of Surge ie. Poco – Feel the Surge. The second shows the charging speed ie. Surge with Superfast charging. In the video, we can also see that the phone will be featuring a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Also, after the launch event, the phone will be made available to buy through Flipkart.
While other than that, we can see in the above picture the new device will be featuring a Quad-rear camera setup. However, there is a rumor suggesting that the upcoming Poco M2 Pro will be the rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 pro. While the rumors are not yet confirmed as it is not official.
If the rumors are true about the rebranded version. Then we can say that the device will be featuring a 6.67-inch FHD+ display. Powered by Snapdragon 720G SoC housing 6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB. Rear cameras will be of 64MP+8MP+5MP+2MP with a selfie camera of 16MP. Running on Android 10 with MIUI 11. Packs with 5020mAh.
